O’Keeffe Pirates yet again performed in the Law Society 7’s 2009. On the way to a very disappointing defeat in the final we beat Clyde & Co, William Fly, Clifford Chance and Simmons & Simmons. A disallowed try in the last five minutes was immediately followed by the final whistle!!! That deprived us of a try and in the alternative a scrum on the opposition line. The result a 17 – 21 loss to Burges Salmon. Having also lost in the 2006 final on some slightly less controversial decision making we look forward to the 2010 tournament.
