R v T & others [2008]
The client was one of 4 defendants alleged to have been part of a conspiracy to rob Group 4 Security cash in transit vehicles across South East England in 2006 - 2007. The robberies involved the sophisticated use of high powered vehicles, imitation firearms and the targeting of deliveries to cash machines. The case centred on surveillance evidence of the various defendants said to be involved in the planning and organising of the robberies. 3 of the defendants ultimately pleaded guilty to the conspiracy.
T denied the allegation and was acquitted following a 6 day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
